The round birch-wood dowel-stake is: 1/4" x 12"
and can be replaced.

To replace a round stake, purchase a 1/4"-round x
4' (feet) long wood dowel, available at most home
hardware centers.
Note: You can cut the round wood dowels to
any length. Also, if you need a point on the
end of your stake, use a hand-held pencil sharpener.
