Reciprocal Link Exchange Policy

Reciprocal Link Exchange occurs when two RELEVANT websites post each others link on each others website. For example, a website that builds handmade furniture can exchange links with a website that makes handmade refrigerator magnets. These products are relevant because they both belong in country crafts or handmade crafts category. 

Over time, this will increase search engine rankings and visibility. We encourage all websites to keep a clean, neat and tidy categorized directory so that their visitors can easily locate a link to an external website.

There is a benefit for exchanging links with related reputable web sites.  Search engines use link popularity as part of their criteria for ranking web sites.  Web sites that link to your web site are called Inbound Links and they help to establish your web site's Page Rank (PR).  The higher PR gives your web site an advantage over other sites.

To make this work effectively for both parties, there should be a link somewhere on your main web site page that directly links to your partner web site.  The following criteria must be met:

• The partner's link will be no more than two clicks from your website's main web page and they must allow search engines to find the links.

• The links must be listed in a readable typeface in a color that is easy to read.

• Under no circumstances will links be considered from Link-Farms.

• No links will be considered unless they are craft related

We do not charge for link exchanges and we do not exchange with any web site that charges a fee. Link Exchanges should be free.

Most exchanges are simple text exchange links.  Some link exchange partners will offer graphic link exchanges. We here at Kitchen-Aid-Magnets have the following view point.  Since we will  only exchange links with quality web sites that we believe in, and have the products and services will benefit our visitors, we are offering the following exchanges.

At the current time Kitchen-Aid-Magnets will only exchange text links.  In addition, we will only exchange links with quality web sites that have products and services that will benefit our visitors.
